- Open the control panel
- Select the "Ease of Access Center"
- Click on "Change how your mouse works"
- Find the header "Make it easier to manage windows"
- Check the box labeled "Prevent windows from being automatically arranged when moved to the edge of the screen"
- Click the "Apply" button at the bottom of this window
- Close the control panel.
You are done.
I am very grateful that Microsoft was not so stupid as to ship this feature without an off switch. I still think this feature should be off by default. We should have to opt-in rather than opt-out. Still, my confidence in the Vole is at least partially restored.
